My 3 year old loves to dress up and would live in her “fancy” dresses if I let her. She has dresses from almost all of her the Disney princesses, but with the new Cinderella movie coming out she of course needed a new Cinderella dress. Well Jakks Pacific has launched a beautiful Cinderella dress perfect for any little princess.
Ella’s Blue Dress is a recreation of the iconic blue dress worn by Cinderella in the new movie. It is a beautiful dress made with three layers of organza fabric and a silver giltter print for extra fullness and shine. The top is adorned with fabric butterflies for a complete and elegant look. My daughter’s reaction was priceless when I gave this to her, it was a look of shock over how excited she was! The dress is big and puffy, probably the fluffiest of all her dresses, which of course makes it her fanciest. I will say we did get a snag on the bottom and it frayed immediately which was disappointing but that organza material seems to be fray easily. As you can see it is big on my 3 year old, I’d say it would fit up to a 5 year old.
Well no princess outfit is complete without fancy shoes and Jakks Pacific has come out with the Enchanted Waltz Light Up Slippers. They are hard dress up shoes, the word slippers makes me think soft and plush which they are not, that really complete the dress. The Enchanted shoes light up as well as have little butterflies that “flutter” as your child walks. I like the adjustable strap in the back which gives them extra support in a sense and makes them seem a little heavier duty. My daughter tends to wear these shoes more than any other dress up shoes she has. They even have a little heal. They are still a little big on my daughter’s foot but once they fit her perfectly I will even let her wear them outside as they just seem sturdier, not shoes to play in but not as flimsy as other dress up shoes.

I just found some pictures I had taken of my niece when she was 3 years old at Halloween. She was Cinderella and got her costume at the Disney store in the Chicago area. My niece now has a daughter that is 3 years old. I took the pictures to their house and showed my great niece what her mom looked like in a Cinderella dress. She now wants to keep the pictures and play Cinderella all the time, lol 🙂
