    Kidz Gear Headset With KidzControl {Review}

    Kidz Gear is a company I first came across when I was looking for headphones that would limit the volume control for my kids.  I was surprised that there was not a lot of choices back then as it seemed like a major problem.  Kids (at least my own did) would turn the volume up not realizing that it could damage their eardrums.  I admit even as an adult I sometimes turn my own my music up louder than I probably should but I am working on lowering it, especially after trying out my son’s Kidz Gear headphones and seeing what volume limit it suggests for them.

    Well the newest Kidz Gear product I got to check out is the Kidz Gear Headset.  This one from Kidz Gear is sized for kids and features a microphone to talk into.  The headphones are wired (not wireless) and they feature KidzControl Volume Limit Technology (max volume is 90dB.) and a Rotating Boom Microphone.  Basically they are kid-safe headphones with a microphone, which is perfect for gaming or apps on the computer that require a microphone.

    We have come across a few games on our tablets and computer where headphones with a microphone have come in handy.  Sometimes their voices just weren’t loud enough for the computer microphone and these have helped. These can be used too as regular headphones. My kids like that they are lightweight and not bulky. The sound is great from them and with KidzControl I know my kids’ ears are safe from volume that is too loud.

      This would be for my daughter who turns 9 this weekend! Hard to believe. She loves educational websites that read stories to her and allow her to play math games.

      The kids. They love the PC games. I don’t like the constant beeps and grunts. Problem solved.

      These would be for my daughter. She is doing some online classes that may have some verbal interaction next school and the headset would be perfect.

      I wish i saw this sooner. This would have been great for my son.
      I just have one question. Can you set the limit max volume? or does it automatically come with one?
