My family of five spends as much time outside as we can and are always going somewhere. So one thing that is a must for me is a good camera, well actually a few cameras are nice. I have a big DSLR camera that I use for special occasions mainly, a regular everyday camera and of course my smartphone counts as a camera. One thing I haven’t had though is a good waterproof camera. Waterproof to me means durable and it means I don’t have to worry about bringing my camera to the pool or waterpark. In the past I have just left my camera at home and relied on my smartphone but then I have to worry about that getting lost or damaged.

I took this camera on our recent cruise and it was the perfect camera for capturing our memories. From underwater photos in the pool to photos on the beaches at the various islands, it was my go-to camera! I loved that I didn’t have worry about the camera’s durability, it stood up to all the photos I wanted to take at all the places I wanted to take them. I ended up wrapping the camera strap around my bathing suit strap and it hung on there ready to go (plus I didn’t have to worry then about dropping it in the water.) I haven’t tested the shockproof feature but I like that its there in case I drop it!

Another benefit to this camera is syncing it with the free Fujifilm Camera App. It is a very cool app that allows you to quickly share your photos and view them on your phone via bluetooth. This is perfect for when you get a great picture on your camera but don’t want to wait until you get home and hook up your camera to share it.
I would recommend this for any family who is active and wants a camera to keep up with their lifestyle. I have used the camera both inside and out and while the photos are not the same as my DSLR they are pretty dang good! I haven’t had any problems with the camera and it is super easy to use. Just plug it in and charge it and its ready to go!

Obviously the perfect camera to take on vacation! I love that you can take it underwater, it helps even to have it be resistant to water since vacation usually involves water of some kind for us. I especially love the fact that I can share the pictures so quickly & easily. It is really hard to pick a favorite feature on this camera, but I suppose it will be the 4 way protection, consisting if being waterproof up to 33 feet, shockproof up to 5 feet, freeze proof to 14 degrees celcius and sand/dustproof. All of those allow for some pretty great underwater photos. When I was a young girl, I always dreamed of being able to take photographs underwater.

I love that you can take it underwater! I actually have an older model of this camera that lasted me about five years. We were snorkeling in Huatalco on our Panama Canal cruise in October and somehow water got into the camera and it died. I was very sad because for a fairly inexpensive camera it takes amazing pictures, especially underwater.
