There are so many varieties of Lalaloopsy dolls available that no matter what your child is into there seems to be a doll for it. The newest line is the Lalaloopsy Girls Cake Fashion Dolls and they are perfect for any child who loves fashion and cakes!
There are two dolls available in the Lalaloopsy Girls Cake Fashion Dolls line. Both dolls include the frosting and accessories to decorate the dolls.
I got the chance to check out the Fancy Frost ‘N’ Glaze doll and my daughter couldn’t wait to start decorating. Her and her friend sat on our porch for an hour playing with just this one doll! I will say I recommend using it outside or somewhere like a kitchen table because it can be messy. You get a frosting bag, glitter pen and a play-dough-type substance. I was worried about a mess so we use this toy outside, but older kids can probably contain the mess better than my 4 year old.
Once you use up the frosting, glitter and dough, your child will still have a fun doll to play with. I would say though the pieces will last definitely through a few playtimes. Once done with playing she can easily be washed off in the sink or let it dry. It would be nice if there was a stand for the doll to decorate both her front or back but we just laid her down and she decorated her.
Overall though the concept is cute. Since she is plastic, she is easy decorated and washed but like I said it would be nice if she had a stand to decorate and display her. My daughter honestly loves this doll the most just because she is meant to be decorated on. She loves her fun hair as well as it has lots of ways to style.
