Ever since Frozen came out my daughter has been in love with those two sisters and their snowman. I admit I have watched my fill of Frozen and the songs but my daughter really gets into so I go with it. One of her favorite toys has been a Frozen microphone that plays the songs from the movie. Well now JAKKS has come out with the Sing-a-Long Elsa Doll which comes with not only a doll but also a microphone.
What makes Sing-a-Long Elsa Doll so fun?
Sing-a-Long Elsa Doll is a doll that features all-new trigger technology that allows kids to actually karaoke right along with Elsa! Using the included microphone, kids can sing with Elsa in three different ways: Solo singing, Elsa singing the full song, or a duet. Elsa wears a her classic sparkly dress and necklace that lights up to let you know when she’s active. Other than singing “Let it Go”, Elsa can also say 15+ phrases in both English and Spanish.
So what is trigger technology?
Magical Elsa doll sings the full-length song and kids can hold the microphone to the doll’s mouth for Elsa to sing or move it to their own mouth to sing. It is pretty amazing how Elsa can pick up singing wherever your child left off. My daughter was amazed by it! She is only 4 years old and pretty much only knows words here and there so having “help” from Elsa for the parts she doesn’t know is pretty awesome to her. She goes back and forth between her singing and Elsa singing the song or she lets Elsa sing the whole song. Very cute and fun!
Overall, JAKKS Sing-a-Long Elsa Doll is the perfect gift for any Frozen fan. She sings or can be just a doll. While it nice that she sings the full-length movie version of “Let it Go”, I will say though I do wish she sang a few songs. So keep in mind that “Let it Go” may be on repeat for awhile when your child first gets this!
