This is a sponsored post in partnership with LivingSocial. However, all opinions and reviews are my own.
We all have that friend or family member that is impossible to shop for. Whether they are someone who has everything they need or you just don’t know what to buy them in general, they are usually the last person on your list you shop for. I have a few hard to buy for people that honestly last year the day I saw them I was scouring our local grocery store gift card display to find one they might like.
This year though I turned to LivingSocial and it is an idea I was like “Why didn’t I think of this sooner?” I mean I shop for myself all the time on LivingSocial but I never really thought to give one as a gift.
Why do I love LivingSocial as a gift idea?
First off it allows me to give more than I otherwise wood. This is great if you can’t afford more but don’t want to look cheap either. I have seven siblings to shop for and I try to buy them all about the same dollar amount gifts but it can be a challenge to spend that much. LivingSocial makes it possible for me to give experiences and gift certificates at great discounted prices. For example, right now there is $40 off a restaurant and you pay just $20 or there is 2 hours of house cleaning for just $49 (regular price is $120.)
Some examples of deals near me:
You know what your buying with LivingSocial. The fine print is clearly stated and organized so its easy to follow.
“The Good Deal” Guarantee – LivingSocial is confident your purchase will leave you smiling. They offer quick and easy refunds and the best price promise.
There is something for everyone. From local businesses to products to travel escapes – there are so many deals available and everything is organized by category for easy shopping.
It is a great way to try something new. My husband and I tend to eat at the same restaurants over and over, but every now and then I will buy a LivingSocial deal for a restaurant we haven’t been to before to try something new. This would make a great gift for someone too who is new to the area so they can experience something locally. My sister for example just moved to a nearby town so I did some research on the restaurant deals on LivingSocial and I found a few deals that would make great gifts for her and her husband.
More examples of new experiences and deals:
Its the gift that can keep on giving. Maybe you give a gift of a deal to a place that becomes your friend or family members new favorite or it is used a much needed night out for an experience. A spa day deal perhaps or even a belly dancing lesson is something that might stick with them even after the experience.
The gift will be unique. Every time I hop on the LivingSocial website to browse I always find a new place or service that I didn’t even know was offered around me. The deals are not the same old restaurant deals you see all over but rather they are bold and fun priceless experiences. One year we bought my father-in-law a race car driving experience that he still talks about!
Whether you are a deal seeker, adventure seeker or just curious about trying something new – LivingSocial has something for every budget and its all available with just a few taps on the website.
LivingSocial encourages sharing on social media. There are social media buttons the deals so you can share them with friends. Many times you will get a discount or even free experience if 3 of your friends or family members buy the same deal using your referral link. Last year my whole family (there was 9 of us) all bought the same deal and all attended a Murder Mystery dinner for my sister’s birthday.
If by any chance you can’t find something for someone on your list, LivingSocial even offers gift cards so they user can pick out their own experience.
