Getting Active with Geospace

I received the products below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

My kids love their toys but it can be hard to find toys that they can play with outside as they get older. Sure we have scooters and bikes but sometimes they just want to play in the front yard. Geospace is a company that has been creating fun, unique toys to kids for 30 years now. I got the chance to check out a few of their hot sellers and my kids were thrilled of course.

Air Archer Set – Air Powered Bow

The AIR ARCHER is a flexible bow and arrow that is super easy to use. You just pop on a rocket, pull back and let go! It uses a patented E-Z Pull Bungee Power System that is how the dart goes. The rocket can travel up to 150 feet and I will say it really does go far! No batteries required and you can interchange with foam rockets and darts. My boys got to play with it for quite awhile before they finally snapped the bungee. We ended up duct tapping it and gluing it and it is still working. I was bummed it broke relatively quickly but it was just a $20 something dollar toy and my boys are rough.

Bungee Blast Mini

This is a patented EZ Bungee-Pull System that allows the rockets to turbo-launch for greater distance. You just have to pop on rocket, pull back and push. The foam makes it so you can play indoors which is nice since of course my boys have been shooting it indoors. We haven’t had any problems with this other than keeping track of the darts. My kids love it from my 4 year old to my 8 year old. Very simple and requires nothing other than the blaster and the rocket! It would be nice if this came with extra rockets but for the price of less than $10 I didn’t expect much. You can buy additional rockets.

Jump Rocket LED Night Shotz Set

This is a pump rocket where you place a rocket on a stick and stomp your foot on the rocket. It comes with three rockets which is a nice starter set and you can buy additional rockets. These rockets are different though as they light up thanks to the built-in LED lighting! I will say they are pretty cool how they light up! Very easy to use and for all ages. My boys did break from stomping too hard but with a little duct tape we were back in business. I did expect it to last longer but then again I didn’t expect much when my kids have to stomp on it to work! The rockets alone though made it cool and they can always be used for other toys.

Ski Skooter

This is a snowboard basically with a handle. It is designed to “snowboard” on snow, grass or even sand dunes! You can use it like a scooter on flat, smooth surfaces – my boys push it around our carpet and basement! We haven’t used it on our wood floors because I’m afraid the plastic might scratch our floors but it is great on carpet. The handle is adjustable depending on height of user and when done you can easily fold it flat for storage. It is also super durable and strong, which is a plus when two boys are using it. I love that this can be used year-round and even for adults (up to 220 lbs.)
