I partnered with Vision Direct in exchange for sharing this information and my opinion.
I had relatively easy pregnancies with each of my three kids. I never had morning sickness or pains really, but rather my main issues were a constant full bladder and being tired all the time. I did though have a few small issues though such as heartburn and issues with my eyes.
As far as my eyes go, I have worn glasses since I was about 12 years old. About a year before I had my first child, I decided it was time for contact lenses. I had the whole contact lenses thing down pat, that is until I got pregnant. I had no clue that pregnancy could cause vision issues, but it can and it actually affects about 50% of women.
An interesting infographic from Vision Direct UK reveals how pregnancy affects your vision.
My eyes were so dry during my pregnancy that I couldn’t wear contact lenses at all and eye drops became my best friend. I actually didn’t put two and two together until I experienced the same issues with my second and third child. I don’t even remember if I mentioned it to my doctor during my first pregnancy but it is something that should be discussed with your doctor. I am glad to know now that I am not alone and my eyes did go back to normal after I delivered my babies.

This is a good thing to watch out for during pregnancy.

This is a very interesting post. I will have to tell my sister about this.
