As Jesse, you’ll embark on a perilous adventure across the Over world, through the Nether, to the End, and beyond. You and your friends revere the legendary Order of the Stone: Warrior, Redstone Engineer, Griefer, and Architect; slayers of the Ender Dragon. While at EnderCon in hopes of meeting Gabriel the Warrior, you and your friends discover that something is wrong. something dreadful. Terror is unleashed, and you must set out on a quest to find The Order of the Stone if you are to save your world from oblivion.
Minecraft- Story Mode is an adventure game set in a Minecraft world. It is a five-part episodic series that will take you to the Nether, the Farlands, the End, and beyond! Get instant access to Episode 1 on the season disc, and get access to four more episodes as they become available to download. Internet connection required.
So I haven’t had the chance to actually play this yet but I have watched my kids play it a lot! So this is a completely separate game from Minecraft but a perfect companion game for any Minecraft fan. The game disc is the first season and then as the other seasons become available you get them available to download for free. You will need to connect to the internet to download them onto your gaming console.
The game is single player which I thought would be an issue for my boys but they seem to be okay watching each other take turns. Each session is very easy to complete, for example my 8 year old son finished in about 2 days (probably would have been one day if I let him play on it all day!) At $20 for the game though you do get four sessions so think of it as four mini games for the price. It is a fun adventure that my son has played a few times over and over now.
