So about ten years ago we went to my parent’s friend’s house and they showed us their home entertainment room with a projector. The projector was awful and I figured they were all that bad of quality. Then about three years we saw another projector and boy did the quality improve since the last time we saw one. I immediately came home and decided we were going to turn our basement into a home theater.
Ever since though I have wanted to easily take our projector into our rooms of our house and even outside. Our basement projector is big and bulky and has all of our devices installed into it, plus it was very expensive when we got it so not something I’d want to take the chance of getting broken.
Then I heard of the ZTESPRO 2 Wireless Smart DLP Projector and it is everything I have been looking for. It seriously is amazing and I cannot say enough good things about it.
Features I love:
- Extremely portable due to its small size and lightweight (weighs just 1.26 lbs.)
- 5-inch Android touchscreen built-in
- Built-in battery so once you charge it you can use it without power cord. I found the battery lasts quite a long time (about 2.5 hours) which is going to be perfect for outside movies this summer!
- Users can connect USB, HDMI, micro SD cards, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth
- Projects up to 120 inches with 720p HD resolution – here is a picture of it on my garage door and basement
- Access to Google Play apps
- Comes with nice traveling case that is padded and can store cords and accessories
- Built-in dual JBL speakers that are quite loud – again perfect for not having to drag out speakers to use with it
- Autofocus and keystone correction for a perfect picture
- Easily connects to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth – I had this out of the box and set up for viewing in about 5 minutes
- Stand flips out the bottom as well as a spot to connect to a tripod
Honestly I love my new ZTESPRO 2 Wireless Smart DLP Projector and see so many uses for it. With it being so portable I see bringing outside for movie nights, to my families houses to show off pictures and videos (much easier for grandma than a small phone or tablet), on vacation for movies and even for my husband to do presentations at work. The Android touchscreen makes it even easier to access what I need to and with the ability to add a microSD card I would think you could even use it without Wi-Fi (although I didn’t have a card handy to try it out.) Yes it may seem expensive at $550 but I definitely see it worth it with all the uses we will get out of it. So far we have used it in various rooms of our basement, outside our house and at my parent’s house. My boys are excited to use it for sleepovers in their room. It is such a handy little gadget!

Happy to see that home projection has taken off and technology is really making projectors smaller in size, but better in quality. The ZTE is impressive with the android touchscreen up top and the option of multiple source formats along with having Google Play. Thanks for all the details, and I hope I can finalize one real soon, especially for the holiday season.
