    Christmastime is my favorite time of the year. I love the decorations, food and all the time I get to spend with my family. My husband takes time off from work, my kids have vacation from school and my own work starts to slow down. I look forward to our weekends of decorating for Christmas, baking cookies and watching holiday movies. While I am not a big fan of Christmas music, I do love holiday movies. I love all the classic must-watch movies as well as all the new ones that come out each year. My whole family loves movies and we watch at least one as a family each week. For movies that my kids are too young for or just won’t enjoy, I love curling up with a warm blanket and watching them to unwind from the day.

    Just in time to get you in the mood for the holidays, Hallmark Channel has a lineup of 19 All New movie premieres every Saturday and Sunday.

    This Sunday (November 13th) the movie “Christmas Cookies” is airing at 8pm/7c.

    Stars: Jill Wagner (“Wipeout”), Wes Brown (“True Blood,” “Hart of Dixie”)

    Aunt Sally’s Christmas Cookie Company is sold to a large conglomerate and executive Hannah (Wagner) must seal the deal and shut down the factory, which is the small town of Cookie Jar’s lifeblood. What was supposed to be a simple assignment for Hannah becomes complicated when she meets Jake (Brown), the factory owner who’s determined to keep the factory in town. Despite not being a fan of the holiday, the Christmas spirit in this small town is infectious and she gets swept up in the joy of the season while also falling in love.

      Like many of the Hallmark movies, this one has an ending that you can see coming from the first scene. But that doesn’t stop me from watching them! This one looks really cute, and I’ll be keeping an eye out for it in the listings. 🙂

      The Hallmark channel is one of my family’s favorite channels to watch. I remember my grandma and aunt always watching the Hallmark channel each year at this time. The line up is always so fun and enjoyable. I can not wait for this years movies. Popcorn and blanket time.

      I always look forward to watching the Hallmark Christmas movies. I don’t usually get to see the premiers but they do rerun them so I see all of them eventually. I’m looking forward to seeing A December Bride from the preview I saw yesterday, one of my favorite “classics” is The Most Wonderful Time of the Year with Henry Winkler.

      I like The Three Gifts. As one reviewer said, it can be shown anytime of year as it’s not overly romantic. I know Hallmark tends to be cheesy romantic movies, but Christmas is much more than romance 🙂
