I partnered with this brand in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Diabetes is something that is near and dear to my heart. Many families share a similar history of illnesses and ailments, and my own family suffers from diabetes. Every year when I go in for my annual check-up, I am on pins and needles waiting for the results of my blood work.
As I am getting older, I realize I need to start taking better care of myself and watching what I put into my body. I am slowly starting to read labels on the products I buy and cut back on salt and sugar. So I was very excited when I was asked to partner with Fifty50 Foods, a company that makes Low Glycemic products for people living with diabetes, or anyone simply looking to control blood sugar levels. What’s more, they donate 50% of their profits to diabetes research!
Fifty50 Foods is a leading company with 23 Low Glycemic products designed to minimize blood glucose fluctuations. Since not all carbs are created equal, the Glycemic Index will help you make informed choices about the carbs you eat and how they affect your blood sugar levels.
The Fifty50 Foods Product Line
The Fifty50 Foods Low Glycemic product line features a variety of products to suit all of your needs from snacking to cooking and baking.
Crave snacks? Fifty50 Foods has Chocolates, Cookies, Wafers and Hard Candies.
Want to start the day right? There are Fruit Spreads, Hearty Cut Oatmeal and Maple Syrup.
What else? They even make Peanut Butter, Pie Crust, and Crystalline Fructose (an ideal substitute for ordinary table sugar. Use it for all your baking and sweetening needs for delicious results with a 65% lower glycemic response than regular sugar).
Fifty50 Foods Makes it Easy
I love that there is a line of products that can help keep me in line without having to think about it! As a busy mom of three, I don’t always get to eat right or read all of the labels and Fifty50 Foods has done the work for me. What I enjoy best, is that the products are all Low Glycemic which again, takes the stress out of worrying about whether I’m consuming foods that will cause highs and lows in my blood glucose levels.
Whether you have diabetes, are worried about developing diabetes, or are just looking for foods with low, or no added sugar, Fifty50 Foods has you covered. You don’t have to be affected by diabetes to appreciate Fifty50 Foods. The products I have tried so far all taste amazing. There was no sacrifice of taste or quality when the products were made, which surprised me.
I often pass over foods that say the words “Low” or “No” because that usually means the flavor has been affected, however, this is not the case with Fifty50 Foods. I will definitely be working my way through their product line and even plan to use their food and ingredients as a substitute when I cook, bake and make snacks. I mean if I can get the same great taste without worrying about my blood glucose levels, then I am all for it!
