So honestly Pokemon started when I was already too old to appreciate them. I remember though my younger brothers were obsessed with Pokemon from the cards to books to show.
Well now Pokemon is back and stronger than ever thanks to Pokemon Go and the new Nintendo 3DS games. Luckily my mom saved all my brother’s cards and passed them down to my boys. Now I see the same joy my brothers had on my own kid’s faces.
What is Pokemon really though?
Are they bugs? Are they monsters? Are they friendly?
What about these new games for the Nintendo 3DS – what is the difference in them?
Well I am not alone in my Pokemon-cluelessness and Nintendo wants to help.
Nintendo invites you to join us for Parents’ Guide to Pokémon, a special 101 tutorial geared specifically towards parents that will provide an overview of Pokémon and the two newest games – from the experts themselves!
The YouTube Live session is on Thursday, Feb. 2 at 2 pm ET. To RSVP, sign up here: bit.ly/2kkP4fS.

Boy I wish I had this years ago when my nephews were small; I can remember sitting trying to appaer to rapt while long Pokemon plots were recited to me and mind was glazing over.

I’m an aunt & my nephews LOVE Pokemon. I don’t pretend to understand it, lol, but I’ve seen the shows & bought the cards!
