With the arrival of Boss Baby, my family was excited to throw a Boss Baby party at home. We celebrated by watching the movie and enjoying snacks of course! Honestly, I have not laughed so hard in a long time over an animated movie. I will say too I feel like it is a movie I can watch again and don’t mind if my kids want to watch over and over. From the amazing animation to celebrity voices behind the characters, it is such a great movie!
Our Boss Baby party was a hit with my kids, partly because cookies were involved. The movie was a hit with our snacks and journals. My kids pretended they were little boss babies!
What I loved about the movie is the story is so genuine and has a great story behind it. I am always telling my kids how lucky they are to have each other, even though they don’t always feel that way. The movie is about a baby who arrives at his new home only to have a mission to find out why babies are not found to be so cute anymore! His new big brother finds out that he can talk and is a boss! The big brother does not like all the attention the baby is getting and makes a deal with his new “baby” brother!
So the boys have a mission and the movie is about their adventure! From mischief to bonding, there is a great story behind the movie. We loved the story! I don’t want to give the story away but there are adorable babies, puppies, a bad guy (don’t worry he is not scary), Elvis and more in the story! My favorite part is probably Alec Baldwin as the voice of Boss Baby – it is hysterical!
Excited for Boss Baby like we are? It is available on Digital HD now and comes to Blu-ray/DVD on July 25th!
