I have never read the “Diary of a Wimpy Kid” series but really enjoyed this movie. This movie was a great addition to a our family movie night and had all of us laughing. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I couldn’t stop watching. It is like National Lampoons Family Vacation but in today’s world! My 9 and 10 year old actually wanted to watch it again right away. The movie also encouraged my oldest to want to read the series, which I am always excite to here. The movie is mainly a road trip adventure.
