Down in St. Charles, Illinois there is an amazing resort called Pheasant Run. What makes Pheasant Run so amazing is that it is an affordable hotel that is perfect for a staycation while still being affordable!

Now through Labor Day, Pheasant Run is offering a Summer Splash package available Sundays through Thursdays, that includes one night’s accommodations in a deluxe room, one 16” pizza and a two-liter soda, plus $10 worth of tokens for the Swamp Arcade. Rates begin at $149* per night for a family of four.

Guests will enjoy newly refreshed guest rooms in The Tower as well as a new lobby and other upgrades in the property as a multi-million-dollar improvement continues. The iconic resort offers something for all ages including golf on the championship course, an indoor-outdoor swimming pool, a firepit for s’mores, restaurants and bars, Zanie’s Comedy, brand new iPanic Escape Room plus other entertainment on “Bourbon Street,” and more.

My family headed up there for a last minute summer staycation and I was really surprised at how much we were able to pack in over just one night!

First this is no ordinary hotel, there are tons of daily activities to take advantage of, many of them are even free!

Our favorite thing though was the pool which is actually an indoor pool that heads outdoor under a wall. This was super cool to my family as we have never been able to swim outside from an indoor pool before. There is also another pool on the other end of the resort.

What else makes Pheasant Run Resort stand out is their very own Bourbon Street! There is a Zanies comedy club, restaurant, ice cream shop, arcade, art gallery and more! We, of course, hit up the ice cream shop and arcade.

We even played some board games which are free to check out and did a scavenger hunt around the resort! There was also a bonfire for s’mores but a private party was out there so we didn’t get the chance to check it out.

My kids have already asked to go back and I have no doubt we will thanks to all their great offers. So even if you can’t make it out before Labor Day, make sure to check out their current Deals and Packages!
