I received the product below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
There are toy lines that you know will end up in the garbage and ones that will be held on to. Magformers is a line that is classic and generations can enjoy. My kids have been playing with Magformers for years now and all three of them still play with. I admit even I enjoy playing with them.
What makes Magformers a classic toy?
- First off, they are magnets and magnets are so fun to connect together.
- Speaking of magnets, Magformers protect their magnets inside plastic casing so you don’t have to worry about them falling out (and kids swallowing them.)
- The magnets are also Neodymium Rare-Earth Magnets which means guaranteed connectivity – perfect so kids don’t get frustrated trying to attach them.
- The pieces are BPA Free HQABS Plastic – so basically safer plastic.
- They come in fun colors
- They come in various shapes perfect for whatever you can dream up to build – yeah for exploring creativity.
The Magformers Curve 20Pc Set is the newest set we got and it contains six geometric shapes that we have never had before. Squares, Arches, Sectors, Cones, Spheres, Super Arches and Super Sectors are pieces that allow kids to build shaped creations outside of regular straight towers or buildings. These pieces are of course compatible with other Magformers sets for even more magnetic fun!
Magformers are all about inspiring creativity and my kids come up with amazing creations with them. From a few pieces to the whole set, you can build a bunch of little creations or use them all for a big creation. If your kids get stumped they can look at the included manual which has ideas for what to build.
I would recommend Magformers for kids ages 3 and up and by up I mean even older kids! They are perfect to pick up and build with and the colors are really fun anytime! I even see myself putting them in a bowl on our table as a centerpiece that can be played with!
