Last week we had “one of those nights.” You know the night where you have six places to be. Now I admit we typically end up hitting fast food but I have been trying to find more meals we can have at home before we head out. I am also trying to cook more meals that don’t take forever to prep and cook.
There I was sitting on the couch and I asked my daughter if she wanted to do a puzzle. She said “Mom, what about dinner? I’m starving!” I said, “Dinner is actually already in the oven and will be ready soon.” She said “How? I didn’t see you in the kitchen cooking it. Where is the mess?”
Then the timer went off and our On-Cor Lasagna with Meat Sauce was ready! I popped it in just before the kids got off the school bus and 50 minutes later, it was ready for us to eat before we had to run out. I love how On-Cor is just a freezer away for an always easy, always satisfying and always ready solution for “one of those nights.”
The lasagna serves four big pieces. I added some garlic bread and pre-packaged salad to complete our dinner.
I honestly cannot believe I never picked up On-Cor Lasagna before. Last month, my daughter and I actually cooked lasagna from scratch (well as from scratch as it could be) and honestly it was a long process that turned out okay. My family was just as happy with our On-Cor Lasagna with Meat Sauce as they were with my homemade lasagna!
Popping in an On-Cor family-friendly entrée meant I had time to do a puzzle with my daughter and work on some flashcards with her. Usually, by the time I have worked all day, cooked dinner, did some housework, working on homework or flashcards is something that I just don’t get to. I feel terrible especially that my daughter, who is my third child, doesn’t get the attention my oldest got. Luckily I had plenty of time to do some flashcards with her though while our dinner cooked.
Honestly, my family loved our On-Cor Lasagna dinner and have asked that we do it more often! Um, a dinner that everyone enjoys doesn’t take a million steps and is affordable – yes, please! Oh and a dinner that I know what I am exactly feeding my family thanks to On-Cor’s new packaging which makes it easy to know what is inside. Seriously it made for a great night in our household and was a night we really needed as a family. I can’t wait to check out what else On-Cor has to offer! The multi-serve entrée products from On-Cor features popular flavors and varieties that I know my family will enjoy. I may even use an On-Cor entrée and personlize it next time with my own spin.
Don’t just take my word – Check out On-Cor for yourself
For your next family meal, head to the freezer aisle of Jewel-Osco or check out the store locator at www.on-cor.com to pick up one of On-Cor’s entrées.
