New Guinness World Records 2018

I received the products below to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

Did you know that this year marks the 63rd edition of Guinness World Records? The 63rd edition is filled with amazing photos, never-before-seen stories and information that kids will want to soak in. It is a whole new book full of new record-breaking achievements.

Brand new for the Guinness World Records 2018 edition is a focus on superheroes, from fictional crime fighters to the real-life superhumans who do extraordinary things in the name of record-breaking. It also features thousands of brand new records in natural world, science, social media, technology, music, film and sports. There is even a page on Emojis!

What I love about the Guinness World Books is they are jam-packed with so much information within so many categories. There are chapters on everything from Sports to Arts to Adventures and Society, just to name a few. My boys look at this book every night and have yet to read the same thing twice. There are pictures of everything throughout this book too which help with visualization and breaking up the text. I love how the Guinness books spark curiosity within my kids to want to read more about the topics.

More New Guinness World Records Books!

Guinness World Records 2018 is part of the Guinness World Records Collection, brand new for 2017. Also featured in the collection is the Guinness World Records Gamer’s Edition 2018, the ultimate guide to gaming which looks at the world’s favorite pastime through the lens of record-breaking feats and achievements.

For any gamer, this book is a must have. My boys may not have played more than half of the games in this book but they love reading about them! The book covers classic games as well as new games with facts and stories about the games. Even though I am not a gamer, I appreciate the book and reading about the games. It is a great way too to get a gamer to read instead of game!

New title, Guinness World Records: Amazing Animals, also appears in the collection. Whether it’s a selfie-taking monkey, a skateboarding dog or fascinating facts from the wild, the world can’t get enough of crazy animal stories and Amazing Animals has collated the best of these stories in one place for the first time.

This book is perfect for any animal lover. It is jampacked with all sorts of facts and pictures of all sorts of animals! While I am not an animal lover, I can’t help but laugh when looking through this book, the animals do such funny things throughout it. The pictures are great too for kids who can’t read yet to just look at, which is what my daughter does. I love that its not just one type of animal but all kinds. It has sparked curiosity in my daughter to want to read more about various animals.

BUY IT: The Guinness World Records 2018 ($28.95), Guinness World Records: Gamer’s Edition 2018 ($14.99) and Guinness World Records: Amazing Animals ($14.99) are available in stores and online.
