10 Things I Love About the 2018 Mazda CX-9 #DriveMazda @MazdaUSA

I received this car for one week to review in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.

I have driven many Mazda’s over the years and the most recent one I got to drive was the 2018 Mazda CX-9 Grand Touring AWD. The quality of it was exactly what I’d expect from a Mazda and it drove my family of five around nicely for the week. It is a nice SUV to zoom around town in.

Here are 10 Things I Love About the 2018 Mazda CX-9:

Roomy. I felt like the driver row and the second row had decent leg space. I didn’t feel cramped at all and felt like the inside was open.

Third row. This model had a third row for when you have extra passengers. I will say though it would not be ideal for using the third row all the time unless it is for kids as there is not a lot of leg room. I love the option though of having an extra seat row or bigger trunk – you can’t have both but sometimes you need one more than the other.

Push Button Engine Start. This is becoming standard but it goes along with keyless entry and is a convenience thing.

Navigation/Entertainment System. This navigation was super easy to use and I didn’t need a manual to figure out. I love how easy it was to input the addresses and search for places.

MPH displayed on windshield. This can be annoying at first but then I got so used to it that I missed it when I went back to my own car. It was really net to see the MPH right in front of me and not have to look down.

Sporty design. I like how it has a smooth front end and then seems to glide along the rest of the car. It does not look or feel boxy.

Plenty of USB and charger outlets. There is even a USB outlet in the backseat area.

Bluetooth Pandora. I was able to stream Pandora music via Bluetooth in the car which was I admit pretty cool and amazing how the technology works.

Sport Mode. While it may use gas less efficiently, it gives more pep to your ride. The Sport Mode adjusts your engine throttle controls and transmission shift to deliver a more sporty driving experience – quicker acceleration, passing power and a more sensitive gas pedal.

Heat vents and heated seats for the back row! This is nice so kids or whoever the back passengers are can control their own environment.
