Disney Channel’s Live Action Kim Possible
Based on the global hit animated series, the live-action “Kim Possible” Disney Channel Original Movie follows everyday teen hero Kim Possible and best friend and sidekick Ron Stoppable as they embark on their freshman year of high school, all while saving the world from evil villains. By their side every step of the way is teen tech-genius Wade and new friend Athena, who also happens to be a Kim Possible super fan and is eager to join Team Possible. While Kim and Ron have always been one step ahead of their opponents, navigating the social hierarchy of high school is more challenging than the action-hero ever imagined. With Drakken and Shego lurking in the wings, Kim must rely on her family and friends more than ever. Now it’s up to Team Possible—Kim, Ron, tech-genius Wade, new friend Athena and Rufus, a naked mole-rat that Ron meets along the way—to stop these super villains.
This is a super cute movie that is perfect for a family movie night. Now I vaguely remember the animated Kim Possible but having watched that is not a prerequisite as this movie stands on its own. This movie reminds me of Spy Kids and we have watched it a few times already. My kids love seeing the tech gadgets and how the kids are so adventurous, I love that I don’t have to worry about anything inappropriate and it has humor I can laugh it. Even my husband who normally doesn’t like cheesy kids movies as he calls them said he enjoyed the movie. Definitely a movie you can re-watch and still enjoy.

Whether I win it or not, this Kim Possible DVD WILL be in my college-aged daughter’s Christmas stocking this year! She was such a huge Kim Possible fan when she was younger. Saw every single episode over & over, our house was full of Kim Possible “stuff”, and she even went as Kim Possible for Halloween (maybe more than one year LOL). Even when she comes home at the holidays now, I have left out her Kim Possible ornaments, which she immediately hangs on the tree!
