Recipe: Bacon Crack

This recipe is called Bacon Crack, which basically just means its addicting! It is hard to eat just one piece. You may think it sounds weird, I know I did, but the recipe is super yummy. I love how easy it is to make and that it takes just a few ingredients. I pretty much always have these ingredients on hand too which makes it even easier to make.


  • 1 pound of bacon
  • 1 package (8 ct) refrigerated crescent rolls
  • ½ cup pancake syrup
  • ¾ cup brown sugar

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Cook bacon as you normally would and then chop up into pieces.
  • Line a baking sheet with foul and spray with cooking spray.
  • Unroll crescent rolls and pinch together so its a big rectangle.
  • Use a form to prick holes all over dough.
  • Drizzle 1/4 cup syrup all over the dough
  • Sprinkle 1/4 cup of brown sugar onto syrup.
  • Top with chopped bacon.
  • Drizzle with remaining syrup and brown sugar.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let stand for 10 minutes then cut with a pizza cutter into pieces.

  • I ended up doubling this recipe as I knew it would be a hit!
  • The original recipe called for Maple syrup but I didn’t have that on hand and just used pancake syrup – it was fine.
