I received product/compensation in exchange for sharing my honest opinion. Simon & Schuster is partnering with me for a giveaway.
Finding books that engage my boys is hard. Reading also came easy to me and I loved curling up anywhere and everywhere with a good book so to see them not enjoying reading is hard. I am always looking for new ways to get them to read and books that that they might like. One thing I have found is like action and when there is a series of books they can read. Series books are great because it not only gives them something to look forward to with the next book but it shows how the characters change.
Keeper of the Lost Cities is a fantasy book series that is jam-packed with action. It stars Sophie Foster, a brave and complicated heroine similar to Hermione from Harry Potter, but she has a big group of friends, making this fantasy series fun for both boys and girls.

Kids who love fantasy series like The School of Good and Evil, The Unwanteds, and The Land of Stories will devour Keeper of the Lost Cities – which is a New York Times-bestselling series that’s taking the world by storm! My boys were super curious when they saw I had the whole series stacked in my office. They are thick books but I have a feeling they are quick reads. I am actually starting the series myself, once my boys finish!
