    Halloween is almost here and I feel like Thanksgiving and Christmas will be before we know it. I love Halloween though not just for the costumes and candy but for the calm before the storm of the holidays.

    We actually tried the Entenmann’s Little Bites Brownies for the first time and they were a hit in our household. I never thought to use them in a recipe though!

    The little brownies are soft, moist and easy to pop into your mouth.       All time favorite is Reese’s. But a few years ago they had caramel apple twizzlers and I loved them too.

      My favorite Halloween treat is always the chili that the elementary school serves at their annual Halloween festival they always host as an alternative to trick or treating for all the kids. It is the best chili in the world, in my opinion. The lady who always makes it refuses to give up her secret recipe. So I make sure I am there every year and I eat loads of chili and buy extra that I freeze to thaw and eat through the winter.

      I think one of my favorites is nothing other than the little bite size brownie fudge, but as far as candy, I enjoy a good snickers bar.

      My family is all about chocolate for Halloween! I prefer dark chocolate but reese’s cups are a close second. We try to avoid the sticky candy as it is bad for my kiddos teeth.

      I like all varieties of candy, but they are available year round, so they don’t really qualify as a Halloween treat. I like candy corn, but only in small increments.
