I received product in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
Every winter I like to check out our game closet and add to it and donate others we haven’t been playing. I also love giving games as gifts because they are a gift that keeps on giving. I have always loved breaking out a board game and having friend and family time together. With families staying inside more I love that companies are constantly introducing new games and reintroducing classic games.
Winning Moves is a game company that has so many great games and puzzle toys, and they are constantly adding to their collection.
Some offerings from Winning Moves to check out:
The Mermaid’s Jewels
Mermaids have been swimming through the magical sea, collecting colorful jewels along the way. They have an overflowing treasure chest of “pearls” and want you to join in on the fun! Roll the die and collect pearls from the special pearl sorting treasure chest. Can you string together enough of theses treasures from the sea to make your very own necklace?
This is an adorable game and best of all reading is not required. The beads are small though so make sure there are no smaller siblings around. Very cute game though and unique. I love games that are simple for young kids.
Trashed
Trashed was inspired by the old-time favorite card game Garbage. With custom cards and unique twists to gameplay, Trashed takes the classic game to a whole new level. Your goal is to get your cards lined up in the right order, from 1 to 10. But, look out for the terrible Trashed card! Wild cards allow for excitingly big turns, while Stop cards will stop you in your tracks!
I love card games because they are so easy to take with on-the-go and usually easy enough with rules. This game is fun and fast-paced. No reading is required but you do need to have strategy skills. For storage, the cards come in a cute plastic garbage can which is better than a cardboard case or ziploc bag.
Double Trouble
Having originated in the 1980’s, Double Trouble is back to enchant a whole new generation of players! This game features not one –but TWO- Pop-O-Matic Dice Rollers and detour wheels which can really throw your opponents off track. On each turn, players pop both dice rollers and move accordingly. If a player lands on another players piece, a Pop-Off ensues. The first player to get both of their pieces to Finish wins the game!
I have always loved the game of Trouble and honestly, I had I no idea there was a double version of the game. It is a fun version of the game that is more fast-paced. It is a very simple game to play and great for family competitions!
The Game of Life Classic Edition
Everything you adored about the original 1960 game is found inside. Good fortune is always around the corner. That’s LIFE!
I love this classic edition of Life because it is so simple and is a great reminder of how sometimes simple is better. We have a few editions of Life and honestly, they are way more complicated than they should be. I love the design of this and my parents love it because it reminds them of their childhood.
