I received tickets in exchange for sharing my honest opinion.
When I told people I was bringing my three kids to Las Vegas, my family and friends laughed at me. What is there for kids to do in Las Vegas? Well, actually there are a ton of shows including family-friendly shows like iLuminate at The Strat.
What is iLuminate?
iLuminate is an interactive show that uses lights, dance and dancing all in a dark theater. I wasn’t sure what to expect and my teens went in thinking the show would be lame but left in huge smiles. It is a show all ages can appreciate and enjoy.
The show features songs from throughout the years and honestly, we sang along the whole time and even danced a little in our seats. I could not believe how many songs they performed to and the dances to all of them were flawless. How they moved from song to song while dancing and lighting up was amazing.
Then there were scenes where there was a computer-generated clip shown on a screen to set the scene for the next set of dances. There were also interactive scenes where the dancers came out in the audience, which of course is always fun at shows!
iLuminate has been a household name since they were called “The BEST NEW ACT in America!” during America’s Got Talent in 2011. It is crazy to think how the dancers in electrified glow-in-the-dark suits have been amazing audiences for over 10 years now! The show runs about 90 minutes and it is a show not to miss if you are in the Las Vegas area.

I have never been to vegas. Had a couple of chance but most of them were in the summer, I hear it is HOT there. Looks like there are a lot of fun things to do.
