    My family has gone now the last four years and even though my boys don’t really play with their trains anymore, they said of course they wanted to go again this year!  My daughter really got into the event last year so of course we have to continue the tradition with her.     All aboard for the biggest and best Thomas & Friends® celebration to date! Little engineers everywhere are invited to celebrate with Thomas when the #1 Engine and his best friend Percy™ pull into Illinois Railway Museum August 15 and 16, August 22 and 23 for Day Out with Thomas: The Celebration Tour 2015, presented by Fisher-Price and sponsored by MEGA Brands and all inclusive Hard Rock Hotels.

    This fun-filled event offers little engineers and their families the opportunity to take a ride with Thomas the Tank Engine and Percy, stars of the popular Thomas & Friends series. In addition, children will meet Sir Topham Hatt™, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas-themed activities including arts & crafts, storytelling and more.  The tour, now in its 20th year, will make 42 stops across the U.S. and Canada and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2015. This year also marks Thomas the Tank Engine’s 70th anniversary and fans are invited to partake in some special celebratory activities!

    This year, Thomas & Friends celebrates 70 years of friendship.  All aboard the Best Friends Express for an unprecedented year of Thomas-themed programs and activations as the #1 blue engine celebrates friendship with fans around the world.

    • A 20-minute (approximate) ride with Thomas
    • A 20-minute rid with Percy (additional ticket required)
    • Photo opportunity with talking Percy engine
    • Meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway
    • A Thomas & Friends Imagination Station; featuring stamps, temporary tattoos, hands-on arts & crafts, train tables, and coloring sheets.
    • Storytelling, video viewing and live music

      We took my oldest (who is now 13) to this when he was younger. Now my youngest is 2 1/2 and would love to go! He loves Thomas! But we cant afford it this year because my hubby lost his part time job. So it would be awesome to win tickets!

      My son Vinnie would love this. Every movie we get has the Day out with Thomas on it & everytime he sees it he asks if we can go. He has almost every train. Knows every name. He’s only 3 & his imagination is through the roof. Perfect age for this. The only engine we are still looking for is Steven. We will get him one day! Thomas is still his favorite and puts them to bed at night. Kid loves his trains.
