    For the forth year in a row I am taking part in 5MinutesforMom’s Ultimate Blog Party 2013!  If you haven’t seen this before, it is a online party where a bunch of bloggers link together to find new blogs and hopefully make a few new friends!  It is amazing to see how many blogs link up each year all from different niches!  Its great because there is no pressure or timeline, just a bunch of blogs posted to browse through and visit!

    In case this is your first time here, here is a little ABOUT ME:

    My name is Cherise, but I go by Cher since people always seem to butcher Cherise when saying or spelling it.  I am married to Doug, whom I met at a bar in college and we have been married for almost seven years.  We have three kids:  Aidan (6), Gavin (4) and Olivia (19 months).  We live in a western suburb of Chicago and are never moving again!

    Here are a few things you may not know about me:

    • I have four tattoos, although they are all hidden most of the time!  A butterfly on my stomach (yeah let me tell you how big that is after 3 kids!), a shooting star on my other hip, a dragonfly on my shoulder blade and a tribe heart on my lower back.
    • I love to read, especially vampire books.  Yes I read the Twilight series when the movie came out and have been hooked ever since!  I read all sorts of genres though and am always looking for suggestions!
    • I could live off pizza and Mexican food.  I know not really healthy, but I love it!
    • I’d rather take my kids to Disney World than lay on a beach.  I am a big fan of amusement parks and Disney is just so magical.
    • I am addicted to mail, actual physical mail!  Ever since I can remember, I have always been excited about getting mail that I used to send away for freebies and even penpals, just to get mail back!  As a stay at home mom, my big highlight of the day sometimes is walking out to the mailbox!
    • Oh and if you hadn’t noticed I always love to use exclamation points, probably way too much! :)

    My blog “Mom and More” (originally “Mama’s Money Savers” but since I veered away from coupons/deals I changed my name) is a site where I post daily product reviews and almost daily giveaways!  I also post the occasional deal, recipes, activities, book reviews, movie reviews and personal posts.

      Thank you for stopping by my blog Cher through UBP13. I see we have a lot in common. I do not have four tattoos, but everything else sounds exactly like me. I have one very big (naturally expanded) symbolical loppy-eared rabbit on my hip bone of all places that most people do not know about because I hardly ever put on a bathing suit. After having Alyssa, I noticed it doubled in size. LOL. I love the movie Twilight and begged my hubby to buy me the set of books. Unfortunately, I haven’t had any time to read them. I could (but don’t) eat Mexican food and pizza several times a week even though I know how bad it is for me as well except that I believe chocolate is at the top of my list. I eat that every single day. Yep – horrible! I love mail as well because it is usually a homeschool curricula or product for me to review. My daughter and I love trying new things. I use many (. . . and !) when writing. I think it is because I am always trying to show my excitement. Stop by A Learning Journey any time you get a chance – would love to hear from you again.       Since I didn’t do anything like this for my Ultimate Blog party post I decided I would tell you alittle about myself down here 🙂 I’m a BIG Twilight fan myself. The movies are awesome as well but not as good as the books 🙂 I have 2 tattoos, one on each wrist with each of my daughters names – They kind of look like bracelets. I also LOVE mail! Not email…. To much junk bur real mail is awesome! I LOVE freebie mail 🙂 I’m not a fan of Mexican food but I do enjoy some pizza. Chicken is my favorite food!
      I also use exclamation marks WAY to much but I LOVE it!!!
      You seem like a really cool lady and I’m glad you found me on the Blog Party so I could find you aswell! Nice to meet you! I’m a new follower on Facebook… Looks like I was already following you on twitter!

So my latest find is called A Shade of Vampire by Bella Forrest. It was on Kindle’s deal of the day this past week, so I couldn’t resist checking it out.       Thank you so much for your comment on my blog- I love reading thoughtful and personalized notes. (just like mail too, although I’m HORRIBLE when it comes to actually mailing things) I’d offer to be a penpal, but then I’d be tormented with the guilt of my slackerness of not making it to the post office like I should.

      We should totally email though! Have you ever gone to a bloggers conference? I really want to go to one!

      Oh my gosh DUDE we have so much in common. We already knew the mail thing but I may have a slight obsession with vampire books. Okay okay so it’s not slight. Mexican food is my fav and I seriously miss it since leaving Cali. It’s one food I always make sure to eat when I visit lol

      I LOVE TWILIGHT!!! The books and the movies and I am so sad that the saga is done; I think Stephanie Meyer should write Jacob and Reneesme’s love story next! My mailman now calls me “The Package Lady” needless to say I love mail too! And don’t even get me started on exclamation points; my favorite punctuation as you can see! Happy UBP13!!!

      I am a mail addict my self. And I think I have passed on the addiction to my children haha. Not to mention the ups man my kids are jumping up and down every time they see his truck. Mexican food is on the top of my list. I put cayanne pepper on everything I eat. The hot speeds up your metabolism and is proven to put you in a better mood. Sadly though my hubby is not a big fan of Mexican so I only get to eat it once in awhile.

And even though I work outside the home, that’s the first thing I do when I get home.. check the mail.
